Job Description

One Early Education has a number of centres. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook who is passionate about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for children for our 110 place centre in Truganina. This is a permanent part time role, working Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will

n

n
- Have experience and passion for cooking healthy and nutritious meals
n
- Have completed relevant vocational qualifications in commercial cookery and have a current working with children's check
n
- Be experienced in developing a healthy and nutritious rotating menu for children, including children with allergies and intolerances
n
- Be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic centre Cook
n
- Have excellent time management skills and be confident managing a kitchen;

You will be responsible for

n

n
- Preparing healthy & nutritious meals on time for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for babies and children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals
n
- Ordering food supplies in line with Menus and within service budget
