About the role:
n
CSR are seeking an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of a key product category and drive performance, profitability, innovation, and long-term growth.
n
This is a unique chance to work across our Auckland locations in Penrose and Te Atatū Peninsula, partnering with suppliers, manufacturing partners, sales teams, and customers to develop and execute category strategies that position our products as industry leaders.
n
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering product performance and volume growth objectives across your category. You will lead category strategy, product development, lifecycle management, supplier partnerships, and market analysis to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer and market needs.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Develop and execute category strategy and product roadmaps
n
- Drive growth in sales, profit, and market share
n
- Lead new product development and range optimisation
n
- Manage product and SKU lifecycles
n
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting
n
- Partner with suppliers, factories, and supply chain teams to deliver category success
n
- Ensure product compliance, quality, and technical excellence
n
- Provide product expertise, training, and support to customers and sales teams
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- 5+ years' experience in Product Management
n
- Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic planning skills
n
- Experience in product selection, decorative trends, and forecasting
n
- Sound knowledge of the building/construction industry
n
- Understanding of compliance and industry standards
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
n
