About the Role

n

We are searching for an experienced Casual or Part-time Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team on a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and holiday periods. You'll be creating honest, quality pub-style meals with flair, while contributing to a positive and professional team culture.

n

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play an integral role in delivering a consistent, high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes with accuracy, pride, and passion
n
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards
n
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
n
- Contribute creative ideas to menu development
n
- Manage portion control, minimise waste, and support stock control
n
- Maintain a premium, consistent standard of food quality and service
n

About You

You'll Bring:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Chef or Cook role
n
- Cooking qualifications (highly desirable but not essential)
n
- Strong knowledge of modern pub food, contemporary trends, and culinary techniques
n
- Excellent understanding of food quality, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
n
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage deadlines
n
- Robust communication skills with colleagues, suppliers, and management
n
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
n
