Rendo is a specialist cladding, re-cladding and finishes business operating throughout Melbourne providing all FC sheet, timber and AAC cladding installation and finishes.

Rendo services builders constructing multi-story apartment blocks, high end homes, commercial offices, schools, childcare centres and recladding projects.

n

Rendo is a growing company looking to recruit qualified carpenters as positive team members that can grow with us.

n

Position Responsibilities:

n

The key responsibilities and tasks cover allaspects of cladding with FC and timber products, AAC products and some metal cladding with colourbond and aluminium products. Tasks / Responsibilities include:

n

working as part of a team

n

experienced carpenters may take on team leader responsibilities

n

reading plans, drawings and specification documentation to determine set outs / layouts and installation requirements, materials needed and to work out installation procedures

n

calculating and ordering materials (timber, cladding, subframing etc)

n

cutting materials and assembling including erecting framing with top / bottom plates, studs / noggins and making true

n

measuring, ordering and installing head flashings

n

installing wall wrapping

n

installing top hats / battens and packing subframes to level / straight

n

installing a variety of cladding products (FC, timber, metal, AAC etc.)



in compliance with instructions and installation manuals / guides

n

cutting and installing fascia panels

n

cutting wood joints

n

measuring up for fabrication and installing aluminium / metal cladding

n

We work on sites across Melbourne.

n

Some Saturday work may be required during busier periods so therefore the successful candidates must be flexible with working hours. This is infrequent.

Own transport and drivers license is essential.

Requirement:

n

Certificate III in Carpentry

n

Minimum of at least one year full time experience in this field.

n

Basis of Employment

n

Full time permanent position

n

Hours – 38 hrs per week plus reasonable additional hours as required

n

Work days – Standard is Monday to Friday. Some Saturdays when required.

n

Remuneration Package

n

To be agreed based on experience and skills.
