Design & Build have partnered with a leading specialist in water and wastewater solutions to find an experienced Site Engineer for a contract prospect in Brisbane.

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Type: Contract

n

Duration: Initial contract with potential for further work

n

Rate: Negotiable based on experience

About the Role:

n

As Site Engineer, you'll support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with the Project Manager, site team, subcontractors and design consultants.

n

The role will have a strong focus on site coordination, technical support, QA, documentation and ensuring works are delivered safely and to program.

n

Projects can include pump stations, odour control systems, water treatment assets and associated infrastructure.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide engineering support across live construction projects
n
- Review engineering and construction drawings for buildability
n
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
n
- Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and equipment
n
- Manage QA documentation including ITPs, ITCs and inspections
n
- Raise and manage RFIs and technical queries
n
- Assist with project programming, cost tracking and reporting
n
- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are delivered to specification
n




- Liaise with design teams, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders
n
- Provide hands‐on engineering support during construction and commissioning
n
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements
n

About You

n

n
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
n
- 2+ years' Site/Project Engineering experience
n
- Experience within water, wastewater, civil or infrastructure projects highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction drawings
n
- Experience with QA, ITPs, RFIs and site documentation
n
- Confident coordinating subcontractors and working with site teams
n
- Mechanically minded with strong problem solving skills
n
- Able to work across multiple work fronts and hit the ground running
n
- Experience with 3D modelling software such as Inventor or SolidWorks highly advantageous
n
