FinXL is seeking an experienced Network Engineering Team Lead to join our Network Engineering consulting practice. In this engagement you will deployed with an Enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile infrastructure transformation project. This is a Sydney based position (Hybrid). This position would require recent hands-on experience with Cisco ACI & F5.

Responsibility

n

n
- Lead and deliver network infrastructure components for strategic enterprise initiatives
n
- Drive operational readiness, resilience, and performance of enterprise network services
n




- Lead network security hardening and ensure compliance with risk and security requirements
n
- Produce and maintain technology standards, procedures, and architectural documentation
n
- Manage vendor performance, delivery oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of Network Services engineers
n
- Oversee incidents, problems, changes, and service improvements via ITIL practices
n

Key Skills & Experience

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in technical and people leadership within enterprise networking
n
- Expertise across Cisco networking, firewalls, F5, and related infrastructure platforms
n
- Strong knowledge of network security hardening, compliance, and risk mitigation
n
- Proven ability to evaluate and adopt emerging tech (SD-WAN, ACI, NSX, SDA)
n
- Experience managing vendor and contractor performance and service reviews
n
- Background in capacity planning, lifecycle management, and architectural design
n
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management
n
