Project Lead Service Coordination and Implementation

Lead the coordination of key mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) initiatives that improve access, and outcomes for communities in Robinvale and Ouyen. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with community members, healthcare providers and sector partners to strengthen the primary health system to deliver high-quality, community-centred care.

Key Accountabilities

n

- Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategic mental health and AOD service initiatives, ensuring delivery of outcomes within scope, budget and timeframes.
n
- Support the establishment of mental health services in Robinvale and Ouyen.
n
- Support the establishment and strengthening of partnerships between community, primary care, health and tertiary service providers to improve service integration and health outcomes.
n
- Engage communities and stakeholders to inform service design, identify service gaps and improve access, navigation and coordination across the local health system.
n
- Monitor project performance, manage risks, and provide high-quality reporting, briefings and recommendations to support decision-making.
n
- Contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance primary mental health, AOD and youth service delivery across the Murray PHN region.

About You

n

You are an experienced project leader who excels at bringing people together to deliver meaningful change. With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you can translate community needs into practical solutions that achieve measurable outcomes.

Key Capabilities

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences, or a related field and 5 or more years in a similar role.?
n
- Demonstrated ability to lead engagement and build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to foster collaboration, influence outcomes and achieve shared objectives.
n
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects, including planning, prioritising resources, managing competing demands and achieving measurable outcomes.
n
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly across a range of audiences and prepare high-quality reports, briefings and recommendations.
n
- Knowledge of the local health and community service landscape, including existing networks, service providers and key stakeholders relevant to Robinvale and Ouyen.
n
- A connection with the Murray PHN catchment, our values and vision.

This is a casual position working on average 15.2 hours per week. Hours worked will vary and be scheduled weekly as needed to align with project requirements. Employment in the position ends on conclusion of the project in June 2027.
