Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operator

Border Carpets & National Tiles Wodonga is seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our team on a full-time basis.

n

This is an important operational role responsible for the safe, efficient and timely preparation and delivery of customer orders, while supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

n

We are looking for a qualified, organised and accountable individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of safety, quality and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, handling and delivery of customer orders, as well as supporting the efficient operation and presentation of the warehouse.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Safely and professionally delivering customer orders to site
n
- Picking, preparing, packing and loading orders for delivery
n
- Receiving and processing incoming goods
n
- Operating forklifts and safely moving stock throughout the warehouse
n
- Ensuring stock is correctly stacked, stored and maintained
n
- Ensuring all outgoing goods are accurate and delivered within agreed timeframes
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
n
- Maintaining company vehicles to a high standard and completing vehicle logbooks accurately
n
- Reporting vehicle, warehouse and equipment maintenance requirements
n
- Completing relevant paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
n
- Supporting general warehouse operations and housekeeping
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current MR (Medium Rigid) Driver's Licence
n
- Current Forklift Licence
n
- OH&S; White Card
n
- Previous forklift operating experience
n
- Experience with manual handling
n
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
n
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions
n

n

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, delivery or similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
