About the role

Aero Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team in Melton.

n

This is a full-time, hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and can maintain accuracy and focus when completing repetitive production tasks.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of steel tubular products and related components
n
- Cutting, sawing, grinding, deburring, drilling, expanding, notching and polishing
n
- Pressure testing finished products and components
n
- Operating industrial machinery including metal polishers, presses, drills, saws, stamping machines and laser etchers
n
- Using machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Assisting other members of the production team as required
n

What we're looking for

- Previous factory,



manufacturing or metalwork experience is preferred, but not essential
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
n
- Ability to maintain focus, consistency and precision when performing routine tasks
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
n
- A practical, hands‐on approach and willingness to learn
n
- Good physical fitness and stamina for a manufacturing environment
n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
