Required Qualifications:

White card

n

Drivers Licence (HR Licence preferred)

n

VEDN Module 1

n

VESI Safety Framework

n

Provide First Aid in ESI workplace

n

ESI Safety Rules

n

SADS

n

Traffic

n

Works to include:

n

n
- Excavation and preparation for electrical infrastructure
n
- Installation of underground conduits, pits and associated civil infrastructure
n
- Excavation and preparation for power pole and streetlight installations
n
- Assisting with the installation and removal of poles and associated infrastructure
n
- Operating excavators and other small plant
n




- Dogging and assisting with small crane operations
n
- Working safely around existing underground and overhead electrical assets
n
- General civil construction and reinstatement works.
n

n

Previous experience working within the power industry is essential, with applicants required to hold current relevant VESI/ESI competencies and network approvals.

n

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across both civil construction and power infrastructure projects, can work independently when required, and is equally happy working as part of a crew.

n
