Current Recruitment Needs

Lithgow

n

We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers based in or around Lithgow who have:

n

n
- A minimum of 3 months' experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
n
- Availability between 7:00am – 6:00pm
n
- Availability across Monday – Sunday is highly regarded
n
- A reliable approach to accepting and maintaining regular shifts
n

n

Katoomba & Blue Mountains

n

We are also actively recruiting Disability Support Workers in Katoomba and surrounding Blue Mountains areas.

n





For our current participant needs, 24/7 availability is ideally preferred. However, candidates who can reliably work within 6:00am – 9:00pm, Monday – Sunday are also encouraged to apply.

n

The greater your availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, the more opportunities we may be able to offer.

About the Role

n

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community.

n

Your responsibilities may include:

n

n
- Supporting participants with behaviours of concern
n
- Personal care and daily living assistance
n
- In-home support
n
- Community access and social engagement
n
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
n
- Building positive and respectful relationships
n
- Following behaviour support strategies, care plans and organisational procedures
n
- Maintaining qualified boundaries
n
- Completing accurate shift documentation
n

n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Previous disability support or community support experience
n
- Minimum 3 months' experience supporting people with behaviours of concern for current Lithgow opportunities
n




- Valid NSW Driver's Licence
n
- Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
n
- First Aid & CPR
n
- Working With Children Check (Paid)
n
- National Police Check (within 3 months)
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Smartphone with internet access
n
- Willingness to obtain any outstanding required checks
n
