voestalpine Railway Systems Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. As a full-time Boilermaker/Welder, you will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for carrying out various fabrication, welding and assembly tasks within the production team.

What you'll be doing

- Operating machinery to fabricate components
n
- Welding and assembling larger structures and components
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and accurate work
n
- Performing quality control checks, such as ensuring manufactured products meet company standards and specifications
n
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
n
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Formal qualifications as a Boilermaker/Welder, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
n
- Expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques,



with the ability to work on a variety of materials
n
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical issues
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to technical specifications
n
- A commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
