We are seeking a driven and experienced Duty Manager to join the team at the Lighthouse Hotel. As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of this popular hospitality venue. This full-time position is based in Burnett Heads, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

n

Overseeing and coordinating all staff activities to deliver exceptional customer service

n

Handling reservation inquiries, managing bookings, and liaising with customers

n

Monitoring inventory levels and purchasing supplies as needed

n

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

n

Providing leadership and guidance to the front-of-house team

n

Assisting the General Manager with operational and administrative duties

n

What we're looking for

n





Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

n

Robust leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

n

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to handle high-pressure situations

n

Proficiency in using hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems

n

Thorough understanding of food hygiene, liquor licensing, and workplace safety regulations

n

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

n

Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
