Air Conditioning Installers – 2 Positions Available

Mint Airconditioning & Refrigeration is a well-established Canberra HVAC company specialising in residential and light commercial air conditioning.
n
Due to continued growth, we are looking for two experienced Air Conditioning Installers to join our installation division.
n
This is a full-time position working as part of an experienced installation team across domestic and light commercial projects throughout Canberra and surrounding areas.
n
About the Role
n
The role will primarily involve the installation of ducted and split air conditioning systems, working alongside our qualified refrigeration mechanics, electricians and installation team.
n
Day-to-day work will include:
n
n
- Installation of residential and light commercial ducted air conditioning systems.
n
- Installation of split and multi-split systems where required.
n
- Installation and running of flexible and rigid ductwork.
n
- Installation of supply air outlets, return air systems, plenums and transitions.
n
- Installation of zoning systems, zone motors and associated components.
n
- Positioning and installation of indoor and outdoor units.
n
- Installation of refrigeration pipework, drainage and associated services where appropriately licensed.
n
- Reading installation plans and working with the team to complete projects efficiently.
n
- Completing installations neatly and to a high standard.
n
- Maintaining clean and organised job sites.
n
- Working professionally in customers' homes, businesses and active construction sites.
n
- Following Mint's WHS procedures and installation standards.
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for installers who already have experience within the air conditioning or HVAC industry and can confidently work as part of an installation team.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience installing ducted air conditioning systems.
n
- Experience within domestic and/or light commercial HVAC.
n
- Good knowledge of ductwork, grilles, zoning and general air conditioning installation.
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
n
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
n
- Valuable communication skills and a professional attitude.
n
- Reliability and punctuality.
n
- The ability to safely undertake physical work, including working in roof spaces.
n
- A current White Card.
n
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
n
Relevant HVAC, refrigeration or trade qualifications are highly regarded.
n
