Kitchen & Food Services Assistant
n Location: Hastings, VIC
n We are seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen & Food Services Assistant to join our team in Hastings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment, takes pride in cleanliness and organisation, and is comfortable working independently as well as supporting a wider team.

n About the Role
n You will provide day-to-day kitchen and food service support, helping ensure meals are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food handling and organisation.
n Proposed Hours

- Monday - Thursday - 7am to 3pm
n
- Friday 7am - 12pm Finnish
n

n
nPay Rate n
n$33.46 per hour + supern
n n

nKey Responsibilities n
nYour duties will include, but are not limited to:n
n

- Dishwashing
n
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area
n
- Keeping food handling and kitchen areas clean, organised and appropriately stocked
n
- Moving frozen meals into refrigeration in preparation for lunch and dinner service
n
- Stocking refrigerators and dry goods
n
- Obtaining daily meal selections from families
n
- Ordering food and supplies for the following week
n
- Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers
n
- General food handling and kitchen support duties as required
n
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and food service areas
n

nRequired Qualification n
nApplicants must hold a current Food Handling Certificate. n
nPrevious experience in a kitchen, food service, hospitality, aged care, healthcare or similar environment will be highly regarded.n
