About thisopportunity:

ICC Sydney is looking for an experienced and passionate KitchenLogistics Supervisor to join a fast paced and high performing Kitchen team,leading the day-to-day operations and supporting the delivery of our worldclass events.

n

We are looking for a professional with a positiveattitude looking to grow and develop in their career at ICC Sydney, a keycontributor to the large kitchen stewarding operation.

n

In addition, you will:

n

n
- Assisting senior supervisors to lead the Kitchen stewarding operation by instilling trust and respect within the team.
n
- Overseeing team member management within the Kitchen Stewarding department;
n
- Assisting the Senior Kitchen Logistics Supervisors with and rostering
n
- Delivering high standard preparation for all off our events, managing staff in several sections simultaneously;
n
- Lead, coordinate and deliver all arrangements related to supporting the kitchen brigade and front of house teams;
n
- Provide regular feedback to all team members, both formally and informally
n




- Assist in the recruitment of permanent and casual Kitchen Logistics team members.
n
- Training, leading and inspiring the Stewarding team members;
n
- Leading the provision of adequate and clean operating equipment to meet the daily requirements of the kitchen and outlets;
n
- Maintaining our high standards of food quality and ISO 22000 food safety compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Effective management and control of the Kitchen Logistics Labour cost through weekly planning of the Kitchen Logistics roster
n
- Conduct monthly chemical stocktakes, accurately recording the amount of goods on hand
n
- Administrative duties, rostering, ensuring that relevant emails are responded to, approving timecards
n
- Minimise risk and exposure with relation to WH&S;, reporting all incidents, assigning corrective actions and training staff
n
- Manage the breakage system, investigate high damages and FFE Breakages
n
- Regularly attend kitchen and Front of House meetings to ensure a smooth operation
n
- Conduct daily kitchen inspections, pass this to the night cleaning team and follow up the following day
n
- Reviewing procedures, implanting changes if needed, training new staff on procedures and updating the training matrix.
n
- Operating, cleaning and general knowledge of Flight dishwashers, pot washing machines, conveyor dishwasher, under counter dishwashers.
n
- Provide hands‐on assistance to the Kitchen Logistics team when required
n
- Supervise the collection of goods from the loading dock
n
- Valid working rights in Australia.
n
- You must be 18 years or over
n
