About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Officer to join our team on a full‑time basis.

This is a hands‑on role with a strong focus on payroll, combined with broader HR responsibilities. You will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll while assisting with day‑to‑day HR activities across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and support end‑to‑end payroll.
- Review timesheets, overtime, allowances, leave, deductions and employee changes.
- Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate payroll and HRIS data.
- Ensure payroll compliance with legislation, Modern Awards and employment conditions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.




- Prepare contracts, variations and other employee documentation, and provide general HR support.
- Support HRIS/payroll system improvements and HR projects.

About You

- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ payroll experience with demonstrated end‑to‑end payroll capability.
- Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Modern Awards.
- Experience calculating overtime, allowances, penalties and leave entitlements.
- Experience using payroll and HRIS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and payroll reconciliation skills.
- Strong Excel, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.
- HR administration experience will be highly regarded.
