SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Packaging & Labelling Equipment

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position working with packaging, labelling, coding and automated equipment across customer sites throughout Victoria and Nationally.

Key responsibilities

n

Installing, testing and commissioning new equipment

n

Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

n

Diagnosing faults and repairing mechanical and automated equipment

n

Attending customer breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime

n

Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer trials and demonstrations

n

Providing operator and technical training to customers

n

Providing technical support and recommending appropriate spare parts

n

Completing service and job documentation accurately

n

Working closely with customers and the broader Result Group team

n

Participating in after-hours/on-call support when required

n

About you

n

At least 2 years' experience in technical service, maintenance, manufacturing or a similar role

n

Strong mechanical and technical fault-finding skills

n

Experience servicing or repairing mechanical and/or automated equipment

n





Good communication and customer service skills

n

The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities

n

A willingness to travel to metropolitan and regional customer sites across Victoria including some interstate travel when required

n

Relevant trade, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic or engineering qualifications are highly regarded
