About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced, organised and approachable Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our specialist cardiology practice.

n

This is a hands‐on role for someone who enjoys leading and supporting a team, working closely with doctors and ensuring a busy medical practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

n

Working closely with our Cardiologists and Directors, you will oversee the administrative team, coordinate daily practice operations and help maintain a positive experience for both our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice
n
- Lead, support and manage the reception and administration team
n
- Coordinate staff rosters and ensure appropriate clinic coverage
n
- Manage staff training, workflow and performance
n
- Oversee consultation, cardiac investigation and inpatient billing
n
- Monitor outstanding billing and follow up unresolved items
n
- Ensure patient registrations, referrals and documentation are accurate and up to date
n
- Coordinate the distribution and follow-up of cardiac investigation reports
n
- Liaise with Cardiologists, patients, referring doctors and external providers
n
- Coordinate operational meetings,



agendas and meeting minutes
n
- Manage day-to-day staffing and operational issues
n
- Maintain practice procedures, staff documentation and compliance requirements
n
- Support the smooth running and continuous improvement of practice systems and processes
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager within a medical practice is essential
n
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
n
- Experience with medical billing, Medicare and private patient billing
n
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
n
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confident managing competing priorities in a busy medical environment
n
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team leader
n
- Skilled and patient-focused approach
n
- Experience within a specialist medical practice is highly regarded
n
- Experience with Xestro is highly regarded but not essential
n
