ProQuest Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Outbound Forklift Operator / Storeperson to join a well-established and growing business located in Dandenong South.

n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse operator who is confident on Counterbalance and High Reach forklifts, enjoys being hands-on and wants to become part of a solid, hardworking team.

n

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a warehouse, takes safety seriously, gets stuck in and is happy to support the team across a range of outbound duties.

n

About the Role

n

Working within a busy outbound warehouse environment, you will play an key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, prepared and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Operating High Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
n
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts for loading, unloading and general warehouse movements
n
- Loading and unloading trucks
n
- Moving, storing and replenishing stock throughout the warehouse
n
- Voice picking and preparing products for dispatch
n
- Picking and accurately preparing customer orders
n
- General warehouse duties and manual handling
n
- Supporting outbound and dispatch activities
n
- Checking stock and ensuring products are handled accurately
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n
- Working closely with supervisors and the wider warehouse team
n




- Supporting the team when priorities change or things get busy
n
- Following all site safety procedures and requirements
n

We're Looking for Someone Who Can Really Get Stuck In

n

Forklift experience is obviously important, but we're looking for someone who is more than just a forklift operator.

n

The right person will be someone who:

n

n
- Has strong, proven Counterbalance experience
n
- Is confident operating High Reach
n
- Has previous warehouse and outbound experience
n
- Is comfortable with voice picking
n
- Is comfortable jumping between different warehouse duties
n
- Is physically capable and happy with manual handling
n
- Takes pride in their work
n
- Has a strong work ethic and a genuine "let's get it done" attitude
n
- Is reliable, punctual and consistent
n
- Communicates well with the team
n
- Takes safety seriously
n
- Follows procedures and works carefully
n
- Takes ownership of their responsibilities
n
- Is willing to help out when the team is under pressure
n
- Has a positive and respectful attitude

- Works well as part of a team

To Be Successful, You'll Have:

n

n
- Current Australian LF Forklift Licence
n
- Proven High Reach forklift experience
n
- Strong Counterbalance forklift experience
n
- Solid previous warehouse/outbound experience
n
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
- Previous voice picking experience highly regarded
n
- Comfortable with manual handling
n
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Reliable transport
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
- Ability to complete a police check
n
- Availability for ongoing Monday-Friday work
n
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
n
