The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the organisation as a Bookkeeper. The purpose of this role is to undertake all of the bookkeeping functions across the company. You will work in a tight-knit team and report directly into the founder of the business.

Keyresponsibilities will include will not be limited to:

- Banking and cash flow requirements
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Payroll
- Reconciliations
- Assistance with tax compliance e.g. BAS, IAS, PAYG, payroll tax etc




- Regularly liaise with the external accountants
- Ad-hoc project and administrative work

The successful candidate

In order to secure this position, you will be a hands-on bookkeeper with previous experience in a similar role. You will be adaptable and place a strong emphasis on building strong working relationships across the business. The following will be favourably looked upon:

- Relevant bookkeeping and/or tertiary qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a SME environment
- Strong Excel and Xero skills
- Deadline-driven
- Outstanding communication skills
