Key Accountabilities

- Perform routine repairs and maintenance across hotel facilities and guest areas.
n
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests for assistance or repairs.
n
- Complete tasks from the maintenance checklist, work request system, and verbal instructions.
n
- Log and report all defects, repairs, and actions taken accurately.
n
- Ensure public areas and equipment are safe, clean, and fully operational.
n
- Liaise with tradespeople or theChief Engineer for complex repairs.
n




- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with WH&S; guidelines.
n
- Support other departments with maintenance-related needs and requests.
n
- Rotate as Duty Technician and attend scheduled meetings and training sessions.
n

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience as a handyperson in general maintenance or a similar.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Good communication skills and a guest-focused approach to service.
n
- Familiarity with basic repair techniques across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
n
- Ability to follow safety procedures and WH&S; guidelines.
n
- Comfortable using maintenance systems and logging work accurately.
n
- Physically fit and able to respond quickly to requests across the hotel.
n
- Flexible availability, including rotating shifts and weekends.
n
