Based at our Head Office in Milton, this 12-month maximum term, full-time opportunity sits within our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services are delivered to employees across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll qualified who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Your role will include:

- Processing end-to-end payroll activities accurately and on time
- Managing payroll transactions including employee changes, terminations and adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and payroll requirements
- Responding to payroll enquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly
- Supporting month-end and end-of-financial-year payroll processes and reconciliations

what we are looking for:

You are an experienced payroll skilled who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and is committed to delivering accurate outcomes while providing a high level of support to employees and stakeholders. Experience working within a large, complex organisation and managing high‑volume payroll processing is essential.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience processing end‑to‑end payroll in a medium to large organisation, ideally supporting a workforce of 500+ employees
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and compliance requirements




- Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills and data accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience using UKG Ready will be highly regarded
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
