We are currently seeking a Junior Stores & Logistics Assistant to support our teams.

n

This is a wide-ranging, on-the-ground role suited to someone who is practical, organised, and happy to get stuck in. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of goods coming into the business, keeping stock organised and accurately allocated, and supporting the wider team with general operational tasks, including occasional driving and workshop upkeep.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their logistics or operations career who wants to grow within a fast-moving start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, check, and log incoming goods against purchase orders/delivery notes
n
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and flag issues promptly
n
- Accurately allocate and store stock in designated locations
n
- Maintain organised, clean, and safe storage areas
n
- Keep stock records/inventory system up to date
n
- Support regular stock counts and audits
n
- Pick and prepare stock/parts for internal teams or dispatch
n

General Operations

- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries
n
- Driving company vehicles for local collections, deliveries, or errands (as required)
n
- Basic maintenance and organisation of tools, equipment, and materials
n
- Support other departments with ad hoc logistical or operational tasks as the business requires
n

Requirements

n

n
- Full, clean UK driving licence
n
- Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks (lifting, moving stock, etc)
n
- Good attention to detail and solid organisational skills
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
n
- Comfortable using basic computer systems (e.g. spreadsheets, inventory software)
n
- Positive and flexible attitude. Happy to take on varied tasks
n
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment
n
- Experience with stock management or inventory software
n
- Interest in technology/engineering environments
n

Details

- Location: Uttlesford / Greater Cambridge, on-site
n
- Five days a week on-site (ie: this is not a hybrid role)
n
