Qualified and/or Trainee Swim Instructors

Shapland Swim Schools Moorooka is seeking a qualified teacher and a trainee teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals at our swim school located in Moorooka, QLD. This is a casual position, with the opportunity to work in a supportive and agile environment. Must be available to work Saturday and from 6.30am during the week.

What you'll be doing

n

Providing high-quality swimming lessons to swimmers of all ages and abilities

n

Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student

n

Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during lessons

n

Maintaining accurate student records and providing feedback to parents/guardians

n

Assisting with the setup and pack-up of equipment as needed

n

What we're looking for

n

Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for swimming and teaching

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

n

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

n

Willingness to learn and develop your skills as a swimming teacher

n

A current WWCC (Working with Children Check) or the ability to obtain one

n

Previous experience in coaching or teaching swimming is desirable, but not essential

n

Recognised swimming instructor qualification required for qualified teacher positions.

Trainee wages

n

You will be paid while training at age appropriate wages of Level 1 of the fitness industry award, once qualified the rate will go up.

n

Must have a car available for use.

n

Qualified teachers

n

Will be paid according to number of years taught in the industry.
