DWS is seeking a Senior Java Developer with proven banking experience to join a major greenfield transformation program within a leading Australian financial services organisation. This role will suit an experienced Java professional with solid Microservices expertise and proven Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure.

n

Previous banking experience is essential.

n

n Salary: up to $185K (inc super)

Essential skills & experience:

n

n
- Significant professional experience as a Java Developer
n
- Previous banking or financial services experience is essential
n
- Strong experience designing and developing Microservices architectures
n
- Strong Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
n




- Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot
n
- Strong knowledge of building and integrating REST APIs
n
- Experience with source code repositories such as Git
n
- CI/CD experience using tools such as Jenkins and/or GitLab
n
- Containerisation experience using Docker
n
- DevOps mindset and modern engineering practices
n
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk
n
- Understanding of API best practices and API Gateway concepts
n
