We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Functions & Bistro Coordinator to join our team.

n

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for hospitality and events, and can confidently manage bookings and customer enquiries through to the delivery of successful functions and bistro services.

n

About the Role

n

Working across our Functions and Bistro operations, you will be responsible for managing bookings, assisting customers, coordinating events and supporting the day-to-day running of the venue.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing functions bookings from initial enquiry through to completion
n
- Managing bistro bookings and customer enquiries
n
- Providing friendly and professional bistro service
n
- Selling and coordinating functions, including:
n
- Taking enquiries and converting bookings
n
- Function planning and coordination
n
- Setting up and packing down
n
- Hosting functions and ensuring a great customer experience
n
- Rostering and coordinating staff
n
- Handling phone and general customer enquiries
n




- Assisting the Venue Manager with various ad hoc operational duties
n
- Supporting CRM and member administration
n
- Building strong relationships with customers, members and the wider team
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Experienced in hospitality, functions, events or customer service
n
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple bookings and priorities
n
- Confident communicating with customers both in person and over the phone
n
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused
n
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
n
- Proactive, reliable and willing to get hands-on
n
- Able to coordinate staff and manage the details that make an event run smoothly
n

n

Hospitality or functions experience is highly regarded, but attitude, organisation and excellent customer service are equally important.
