Looking For: IT Support Technician - Level 2 position (Part-Time) (Canberra Dickson ACT)

The successful candidate will enjoy performing the following tasks on a daily basis:

/n

/n
Remote and onsite user support and assistance;

/n
Daily systems maintenance and performance checks;

/n
Backup checks and remediation;

/n
Desktop device installation, configuration and support;

/n
Liaison with 3rd party vendors; and Travelling to client sites to provide technical assistance.

/n

/n

In addition:

/n

/n
You must be an Australian Citizen

/n
You must hold a valid Australian driver's license;

/n
Have unrestricted access to your own vehicle; and

/n
Some weekend and after hours work maybe required.

/n

/n

Skills and experience: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

/n

/n
Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 IT Support role;

/n
Robust knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, and applications, networking, general software and hardware, and

/n
Active Directory; Installation and configuration of PCs, thin clients, servers and network equipment;

/n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

/n
A robust customer focused approach;

/n
A strong work ethic; A great team player; and

/n
A positive "can do" attitude.

/n
Diploma or higher level study in ICT recommended.
