About The Role

n

As a Licensing Assessment and System Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and delivery of animal welfare licensing and accreditation programs across NSW. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:

n

n
- Process licensing, accreditation and registration applications, renewals and associated transactions.
n
- Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure compliance with statutory and government recordkeeping requirements.
n
- Undertake debt recovery activities and support the administration of licensing and accreditation systems.
n
- Process certificates, applications and renewals for auditors, certifiers and other accreditation program participants.
n
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant outcomes.
n
- Develop, review and update licensing procedures, guidance materials and business processes.
n
- Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence to support business operations and decision-making.
n
- Contribute to system improvements and ongoing development initiatives to enhance service delivery.
n
- Provide accurate advice and information to internal and external stakeholders on licensing and accreditation matters.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role,



you will demonstrate:

- Experience managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work within tight timeframes.
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply policies, procedures and delegations in a high-volume regulatory environment.
n
- Sound analytical skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and apply it accurately in complex situations.
n
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally to a range of stakeholders.
n
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
n
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and manage sensitive information with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
n
- Experience preparing reports, procedures, briefs or business documentation.
n

Essential Requirement

- Knowledge of legislation for Animal Welfare licensing and administration in NSW
n
