Role responsibilities include:

n

- Review and analyse drawings and specifications to identify the necessary materials, dimensions, and installation methods.
n
- Select and order suitable timber and materials, then prepare layouts for construction.
n
- Cut, assemble, and secure parts to build frameworks, fittings, and structures.
n
- Build frameworks, panel systems, roof frames, sub-flooring, and install floorboards, ensuring structures are square and level.
n
- Install fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit external wall cladding, doors, and window frames.
n
- Assemble prepared wood components to form structures and fittings for installation.
n




- Accurately cut and shape wood joints to the required dimensions.
n
- Construct concrete formwork as required.
n
- Repair and renovate existing structures and fittings.
n
- Work with other materials such as plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals when necessary
n

Skills and Qualifications

n

n
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
n
- Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part-time
n
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry principles, construction methods, and building standards.
n
- Proficiency with construction tools and equipment.
n
- Robust understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
n
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and construction processes.
