Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club is home to Diamonds Reception Centre, our dedicated functions and events venue overlooking Barrack Point and Little Lake.

n

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Functions Team Members to join our team. From weddings and celebrations to corporate events and special occasions, no two functions are quite the same.

n

You'll be part of the team responsible for creating a welcoming, professional and memorable experience for our guests – from setup and service through to the final pack-down.

n

About the Role

n

As a Functions Team Member, you'll work across all aspects of event service, including:

n

n
- Setting up function rooms ready for events;
n
- Following event briefs and specific setup requirements;
n
- Providing professional food and beverage service;
n
- Working behind the bar and serving guests;
n
- Working closely with our Functions, Events and Catering teams;
n
- Resetting and packing down function spaces; and
n
- Pitching in wherever needed to help the event run smoothly.
n

About You

- Enjoy working in hospitality and have an interest in events;

- Take pride in providing excellent customer service;

- Are punctual, dependable and bring a strong work ethic;

- Can follow instructions while also using initiative;
n
- Work well as part of a busy, hands‐on team;
n
- Can stay organised and prioritise tasks in a fast‐paced environment;
n
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
n
- Take pride in your presentation and quality of work; and
n
- Are available to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends.

Previous functions or hospitality experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as key to us.
