Radiology Victoria (RV) is seeking a Radiology Liaison Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis at our corporate office based in the Melbourne CBD. The role will be Monday – Friday, 5 hours per day.

The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support to our Radiologists and Operations team. Summary responsibilities include:

n

Assist in the broader Radiology Services department activities by providing general support to the radiology group within RV

n

Provide assistance in the coordination of administration-based radiology meetings and events

n

Provide support and guidance to new radiologists, fellows or registrars, assisting them with any challenges they may face during their onboarding.

n

Manage the credentialling process for hospital-based radiologists and manage setup of relevant provider numbers as required

n

Prepare and review radiologist timesheets

n

Operations Support

n

Provide diary management and administrative assistance to the CEO

n

Provide support to the RV Operations team with administrative tasks as required

n

Support recruitment for all craft groups assisting with onboarding paperwork and setup in various systems, as well as provide administrative support with staff variations and termination paperwork.

Key skills and attributes

Demonstrated experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

n

Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Proactive and results-orientated with a focus on continuous improvement

Ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels

n

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

RV employs approximately 330 highly skilled radiologists and staff, providing angiography, interventional procedures, bone mineral densitometry (BMD), computed tomography, dental X-Ray (OPG), general X-Ray, MRI, 3D & contrast mammography, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound.
