Position Overview

As a Senior Project Manager with our client, you will step into a leadership role overseeing major Tier 1 electrical infrastructure projects. Your expertise in high voltage (HV) systems, substations, and transmission lines will be pivotal in delivering projects that are essential to the future of Victoria's infrastructure. With a clear vision and a team of skilled professionals, you'll execute high-caliber projects that meet and exceed the expectations of key stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

- Leading High-Value Projects: Overseeing a billion-dollar portfolio encompassing substation construction, high voltage systems, and transmission line projects, while providing unmatched technical and strategic expertise.

- Building High-Performing Teams: Mentoring and managing a team of Project Managers and Engineers,



cultivating a collaborative and high-achieving environment.

- Elevating Client Relationships: Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs, exceeding their expectations, and uncovering future business opportunities.

- Delivering Technical Excellence: Ensuring the success of highly complex projects involving HV systems (up to 220kV), substations, and cutting-edge switchboard technology.

- Ensuring Operational Success: Managing budgets, schedules, and risks to deliver seamless and high-quality project outcomes while adhering to industry standards.

About You

- Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of high voltage systems, substations, and related equipment (up to 220kV).
n
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in driving high-performing teams of engineers and project professionals to success.

- A Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional ability to build strong client relationships, while recognizing and pursuing current opportunities.
n
- Problem-Solving Prowess: A history of overcoming challenges through innovative, technically sound solutions.
n
- Educational Credentials: A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. Possession of PMP or similar professional certifications is a strong advantage.

- Significant Experience: A track record of managing large-scale, high voltage transmission and substation projects within Tier 1 environments.
