About The Role

n

We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join the Organics section at our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory in Croydon South, Melbourne. This role involves preparing and analysing samples. It requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.

Responsibilities

- Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, perform organic analysis with wet chemistry.
n
- Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
n
- Safety:



Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
n
- Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
n
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred
n
- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
n
- Ability to maintain competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace

- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude

- Strong teamwork skills
n
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
