Job Description

We are seeking to engage appropriately skilled and qualified individual Support Workers to assist a young motivated male client living with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Moyhu area. Full training in client's individual needs provided, including shadow shift training. Travel incentive paid.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, including showering toileting and grooming
n
- Assist client with home exercises program under guidance of physiotherapist, including gym and hydrotherapy
n
- Assist with planning and organising appointments, social events and correspondence
n
- Assist with community access, including shopping, appointments and social activities.
n
- Assist client to complete tasks on his farm, including checking on animals, walking dogs
n
- Assist with meal preparation and domestic tasks
n

About you

n

n
- Be reliable and dependable
n
- Possess good planning, organisational and communication skills
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, or willing to undertake
n




- Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
- Current First Aid including CPR qualification
n
- Current Police Check (No older than 3 months)
n
- A caring and compassionate approach with the ability to communicate effectively
n
- Experience in the use of technology such as smart phones and computer programs
n
- Experience working with clients with Acquired Brain Injury highly desirable
n
- Working with Vulnerable People check required before startingOption of Salary Sacrificed Super Contributions
