Our Cooling Division specialises in the repair, overhaul, manufacture, and service exchange of heavy-duty radiators, coolers, heat exchangers, and cooling components for mining and industrial equipment.

With continued growth across the division, we are looking for motivated and mechanically minded people to join our team.

About the Role

n

We are currently seeking a Trade Assistant / Cooling Technician to join our Cooling Division workshop in Paget.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with tools, learning recent skills, and being part of a fast-paced workshop environment.

n

You will work alongside experienced tradespeople on a wide range of mining and heavy equipment cooling components including radiators, oil coolers, aftercoolers, nosecones, and heat exchangers.

n

This role offers strong long-term opportunities for someone who wants to grow within the business and build a career in the heavy industry sector.

Key Responsibilities

n

Assist with repairs and overhauls of mining and industrial cooling components

n

Pressure testing, cleaning, flushing, and inspection of radiators and coolers

n

Strip, assemble, and prepare components for repair work

n

Assist trades personnel with workshop tasks and job preparation

n

Operate workshop equipment and tools safely and efficiently

n

Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation

n





Support workshop productivity and workflow requirements

n

Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards

n

About You

n

Mechanically minded with a strong work ethic

n

Previous workshop, TA, radiator, boilermaker, or mechanical experience highly regarded

n

Experience in mining, heavy industry, automotive, or engineering environments advantageous

n

Ability to work well within a team environment

n

Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn

n

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

n

Ability to work safely and follow procedures

n

Forklift ticket or HR licence advantageous but not essential

n
