About Your New Role

n

As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will set the roadmap for delivering infrastructure solutions and supporting services with a focus on performance and reliability.

n

Other Tasks Include

n

Administer enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments.

n

n
- Support VMware vSphere and NSX virtualisation platforms.
n
- Manage enterprise storage platforms, backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam.
n
- Administer Citrix environments supporting critical business applications.
n
- Perform server lifecycle management including upgrades, patching and technology refreshes.
n
- Monitor infrastructure performance,



availability and capacity planning.
n
- Maintain secure infrastructure aligned with cyber security best practice.
n
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide senior technical escalation.
n
- Work with Security, Networking and Architecture teams on infrastructure improvement projects.
n
- Manages external Service Providers supporting the infrastructure managed services in controlled environment.

About You

n

An experienced Engineer with broad technical exposure to infrastructure and hosting environments. You have a track record of delivering uplifts that underpin successful operating environments.

n

You Will Be Familiar With The Following

n

n
- Robust Windows Server administration experience.
n
- Linux systems administration.
n
- VMware vSphere and VMware NSX.
n
- Veeam Backup & Replication.
n
- Enterprise storage technologies.
n
- Citrix administration.
n
- Active Directory, Group Policy and core Microsoft infrastructure services.
n
- Infrastructure security, hardening and vulnerability remediation.
n
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
n
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise infrastructure.
n
- Previous experience working within large corporate or enterprise environments.
