Job Description

Griffith Base Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Renal and Haemodialysis unit on a 12-week contract, commencing as soon as possible. This is an chance to deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis (IHD) in a busy hospital setting, working alongside a dedicated renal nursing team in Griffith, NSW. If you have senior haemodialysis experience and hands-on familiarity with the Fresenius 5008 machine, this role offers immediate placement in a clinical environment where your expertise will be valued.

- Deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis in a high-acuity hospital setting

- 12-week contract with an immediate start date

- Work with modern equipment including the Fresenius 5008 machine in a supportive renal nursing team

Preferred Requirements

n

n




- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
- Senior-level haemodialysis nursing experience with demonstrated clinical competence
n
- Recent, hands-on experience operating the Fresenius 5008 machine
n
- Proven ability to deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis safely and effectively
n
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work independently within a team environment
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
n
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in renal nursing or haemodialysis
n
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in nephrology or critical care nursing
