JFK Interiors is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Projects team in Campbellfield.

n

We deliver large-scale commercial interior fit-out and architectural joinery projects across Melbourne and are looking for someone organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple projects at the same time.

n

This is a hands-on coordination role supporting our Project Managers and working closely with our Drafting, Purchasing, Production and Site teams.

n

You will be involved in everything from drawings and material take-offs through to procurement, scheduling, project documentation and installation coordination.

n

The Role

n

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with our Project Managers, your responsibilities will include:

n

- Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of projects
n
- Preparing material and hardware take-offs from working drawings
n
- Coordinating procurement of materials, hardware and subcontract items
n
- Liaising with suppliers and Purchasing to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
n
- Monitoring critical and long-lead items
n
- Assisting with project delivery and installation schedules
n
- Liaising with clients regarding drawings, specifications and project requirements
n
- Coordinating information between Project Management, Drafting, Estimating, Purchasing and Production
n
- Maintaining drawing, variation and transmittal registers
n
- Monitoring project purchases against budget
n
- Following up outstanding information and project queries
n




- Attending project handover and weekly production meetings
n
- Identifying potential issues early and keeping the Project Manager informed
n
- Ensuring project requirements, specifications and company procedures are followed
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is organised, switched on and capable of following projects through to the end.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in project coordination within commercial construction, fit-out, joinery or a related industry
n
- The ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
n
- Strong planning and organisational skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- Confidence dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
n
- A practical understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
n
- Good Microsoft Office and general computer skills
n
- A robust work ethic and willingness to take ownership of your responsibilities
n

n

Experience within commercial joinery or interior fit-out will be highly regarded.
