Sewing Machine Operator | Automotive Industry

That's where you come in This is an opportunity for a passionate sewing machine operator in an established, industry leading manufacturing business within the automotive industry. An exciting role, focused on the manufacturing of quality products to our customers.

You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, a team player and attention to detail.

You must also have the passion and desire to make a difference & challenge not only yourself but also the team, driving us all to new heights.



You will work in the west Sydney based team and report into the warehouse lead.

n

The roleinvolves:

n

Working with car mats, boot liners or sunshades that require a binding to finish off the product

n

Following instructions and work unsupervised

n

Understand materials and be provided training

n

Change various binding materials and setting the machine accordingly

n

Assembly of the products including cleaning mats, inserting eyelets and badges on the mats and restocking

n

Packing orders

n

The person must

n

Highly competent machinist, with previous experience in a commercial/industrial environment and or the garment textiles sector.

n

Excellent attention to detail, quality, and workmanship

n

Experienced in the use of industrial binding machines

n

Reliable, motivated, committed

n

Fluent in both reading and speaking English

n

Able to learn new skills - growth within and training provided

n

Focus on details & accuracy

n
