We're partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking an exciting data and analytics transformation and are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will play a key part in delivering a backlog of high-priority reporting and analytics initiatives, helping to build scalable data models and empower the business with meaningful insights.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design and develop dimensional data models using best-practice methodologies
n
- Create and maintain semantic models within Power BI
n
- Build intuitive dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making
n
- Work across the Microsoft Fabric platform to deliver modern analytics solutions
n
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting outcomes
n
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting assets
n




- Support the ongoing uplift of the organisation's analytics capability
n

About You

n

You'll be a hands-on Analytics Engineer or Senior BI Developer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and turning business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

n

n
- Strong experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball / Star Schema)
n
- Advanced Power BIdevelopment skills, including DAX and semantic modelling
n
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
n
- Solid SQL skills
n
- Experience managing and delivering reporting backlogs
n
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
n
- Strong communication and documentation skills
n
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
n

- Experience with Azure Data Services

- Data engineering exposure across modern cloud platforms
