About the role

You will be responsible for responsible for the management of Council’sInformation Technology infrastructure and resources, to ensure the efficientplanning, implementation and application of information technology to supportCouncil’s service delivery.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Tertiary Qualifications inInformation Technology or equivalent.
- Experiencein computer and networking infrastructure, firewalls, operating systems,virtual technologies and cloud technologies.
- Knowledgeof network security infrastructure including, but not limited to, wide areanetworks, firewalls, routers and switches.
- Understandingof cyber security governance risk and compliance.
- Demonstratedability to analyse information, solve problems and make sound judgments withthe appropriate security controls in place.
- Well-roundedin-depth technical skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstratedability to provide quality customer service.
- Demonstratedrecord of achievement in Information Technology.
- Excellentoral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Abilityto meet time project deadlines, manage constraints and competing deadlines.




- Previousexperience in a similar role in either the public or private sector.
