Join our team as a Quality Assurance Officer and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across our production site.

The Quality Assurance Officer plays a vital role in supporting the day‐to‐day Quality Assurance operations at our Parramatta Creek site, helping to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance.

n

This opportunity is being offered as a maximum-term contract of up to two years, commencing as a full‐time position for the first six months, with the possibility of extension and/or transition to a part‐time arrangement based on business requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to build your capability in food safety, auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

n

As our Quality Assurance Officer, you will:

n

- Conduct product, water, environmental, and hygiene testing activities.
n
- Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety requirements.
n
- Carry out factory inspections, GMP checks, and internal audits.
n
- Monitor hygiene, traceability, packaging, labelling, and cold chain compliance.
n
- Maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
n
- Investigate non-conformances and support customer complaint reviews and corrective actions.
n




- Maintain HACCP documentation, quality records, and compliance reporting.
n
- Lead or support hygiene meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
n
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to Production teams on quality and food safety standards.
n
- Promote a strong culture of food safety, quality, continuous improvement, and Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) across the site.

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Experience in Quality Assurance, food manufacturing, food processing, or a similar environment (preferred).
n
- Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‐solving.
n
- Confidence conducting audits, inspections, testing, and compliance activities.
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and support operational teams.
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
n
- A genuine commitment to food safety, quality, workplace safety, and continuous improvement.
