Job Description

Full time Chef - California Republic, St Ives California Republic is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team in St Ives, NSW. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and can consistently maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations
- Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace standards are maintained
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
- Assist with menu preparation and development where required




- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

Requirements:

- Relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
- Available to work weekends and public holidays as required

Position: Full-Time Chef Location: St Ives, NSW 2075 Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week Salary: $80,000-85,000 per annum + superannuation
