The Role

n

We are currently seeking a Lead Structural Technician / Drafter with proven experience managing teams and delivering on building and structures projects across the industry to join our Adelaide office.

n

The Adelaide office has secured roles on several exciting projects in the Adelaide market, with a strong pipeline of work across a range of sectors.

n

The successful candidate will have a minimum 10+ years' experience in drafting and will provide support to lead and help manage team capability in the region and source business opportunities to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide technical and leadership guidance across the team's portfolio
n
- Provide input to projects at a project management and/or review level to achieve reliable project performance in terms of both timeliness and quality
n
- Effective management and leadership of the technician team to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and career development
n
- Provide input to the group business plan and implement the team's components of the plan
n

About You

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
n
- Minimum 10 + years' industry experience
n
- Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to mentor and train junior employees
n
- Sound aptitude to prepare technical reports and provide input for proposals for a range of projects
n
- A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change
n
