Airport Development Group (ADG) is seeking a proactive and analytical Risk & Assurance Analyst to join our growing Risk & Assurance team based in Cairns.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of ADG's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework while supporting risk management, assurance and business improvement initiatives across a diverse and dynamic organisation.

n

Working closely with stakeholders across operational and corporate functions, you will play a key role in strengthening governance processes, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting informed business decision-making.

About the Role

n

n
- As the Risk & Assurance Analyst, you will support a broad range of governance, risk and assurance activities, including:
n
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing administration of ADG's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform.
n
- Assisting with the development, maintenance and review of enterprise and operational risk registers.
n
- Supporting assurance reviews, control assessments and compliance activities.
n
- Preparing reports, dashboards, presentations and briefing materials for management and governance forums.
n
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and governance documentation.
n
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews and information-gathering activities.
n
- Analysing data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Contributing to business improvement initiatives and project activities across the organisation.

- Promoting a solid culture of safety, compliance and risk awareness.

About You

n

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working collaboratively across a business.

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Risk Management, Governance, Finance, Law, Project Management, Engineering, Safety, Aviation Management or a related discipline.
n
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- The ability to build effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of an organisation.
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
n
- Exposure to risk management, assurance, governance or compliance activities.
n
- Ability to travel between ADG locations as required.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience in governance, risk, assurance, compliance, audit, safety or business improvement functions.
n




- Experience working in regulated industries such as aviation, infrastructure, transport, utilities, mining, government or similar environments.
n
- Exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as Archer, Riskonnect, ServiceNow or MetricStream.
n
- Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management, ISO 45001 or related governance frameworks.
n
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards and management presentations.
n
