Dawson Moving & Storage is seeking experienced Removals Drivers/Offsiders to join our team in Rowville, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional moving and storage services to our valued clients. As a Removals Driver/Offsider, you will be responsible for safely transporting household and commercial goods, managing client interactions, and ensuring that every removal is executed with professionalism and care. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality service in the road transport and removals industry.

What you'll be doing

Operating removal vehicles safely and efficiently to transport household and commercial goods to their destinations

Loading, securing and unloading items with care to prevent damage and ensure client satisfaction

Following planned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals

Providing professional and courteous service to clients during removals, including assisting with packing and positioning of furniture

Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly

Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and obtaining customer signatures

Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Communicating effectively with dispatch, management and clients regarding job progress and any concerns

Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of storage facilities as required

What we're looking for

Current, valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles being operated

Proven experience as a removals driver or similar transport role

Physical fitness and ability to safely lift,



carry and manoeuvre heavy items regularly

Solid organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to removals and transport

Reliability and punctuality

Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence is desirable

First aid certification is an advantage

Experience with GPS and modern vehicle technology is preferred
