Are you an experienced aged care Quality RN available for an immediate short-term assignment?

We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join an established aged care provider in Doncaster for a one-month locum assignment.

n

This is a hands-on quality and clinical governance position suited to an experienced Registered Nurse who can quickly step into the role and provide practical quality, compliance and auditing support across aged care services.

n

Offering $72.96 per hour, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking for a short-term assignment at an attractive hourly rate.

Quality Coordinator - Aged Care

n

- Monitor and audit compliance against legislative, accreditation and regulatory requirements
n
- Conduct clinical and non-clinical audits across aged care services
n
- Support accreditation preparation and ongoing compliance
n
- Identify areas of clinical risk and recommend appropriate remedial action
n
- Coach and mentor clinical and care staff in best-practice care
n
- Review incidents and resident/client feedback and support appropriate investigation and follow-up
n
- Monitor clinical indicators and analyse quality and KPI data
n
- Support clinical governance and quality monitoring programs
n
- Review and update policies and procedures in line with accreditation and legislative requirements
n
- Maintain effective clinical document control systems
n
- Provide practical quality and clinical support to managers and care teams
n




- Assist teams to maintain strong standards of resident assessment, care planning and clinical practice
n

About you

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - mandatory
n
- Previous quality experience within residential aged care, community aged care or the broader health sector
n
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation requirements and regulatory standards
n
- Demonstrated experience conducting clinical audits
n
- Experience identifying clinical risks and recommending corrective/remedial actions
n
- Experience reviewing and maintaining clinical policies and procedures
n
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality systems
n
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
n
- Confidence working with and supporting managers and staff at all levels
n
- Strong computer and clinical IT system skills
n
- Excellent time management skills
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
