We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and hands-on Duty Manager to join our operations team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.

This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality skilled who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

About the Role /n

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Club during your shift, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for members, guests and staff.

Operational Leadership /n

/n

- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Club during rostered shifts.

/n

- Provide direction, support and coaching to operational staff.

/n

- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across all areas of the Club.

/n

- Assist with staff training, development and performance on shift.

/n

- Foster a positive team culture through effective leadership and communication.

/n

Gaming & Compliance /n

/n

- Ensure compliance with the Gaming Machines Act, Liquor Act and all relevant legislation.

/n

- Monitor gaming operations, jackpot procedures and gaming promotions.

/n

- Ensure Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), AML/CTF and Club policies are adhered to at all times.

/n

- Complete gaming and operational compliance checks and maintain accurate records.





/n

- Respond appropriately to incidents and regulatory requirements.

/n

Risk, Compliance & Governance /n

/n

- Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, food safety, incident reporting and all Club policies and procedures.

/n

- Investigate operational incidents, identify risks and implement corrective actions where required.

/n

- Conduct regular operational compliance audits and inspections.

/n

- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports for senior management.

/n

- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance and reduce organisational risk.

/n

Member & Guest Experience /n

/n

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for members and guests.

/n

- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.

/n

- Support the successful delivery of Club promotions, tournaments, events and functions.

/n

- Build positive relationships with members, guests and visitors.

/n

Operations & Administration /n

/n

- Open and close the Club in accordance with operational procedures.

/n

- Complete cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift reporting.

/n

- Monitor presentation, cleanliness and safety standards throughout the venue.

/n

- Assist with stock control and operational administration where required.

/n

- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and incident reporting procedures.

About You /n





You are an experienced hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys leading by example and creating exceptional experiences for members and guests.

/n

You will possess:

/n

/n

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.

/n

- Experience working within a licensed club, hotel or hospitality venue.

/n

- Strong knowledge of gaming operations and legislative compliance.

/n

- Sound understanding of Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), AML/CTF and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

/n

- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

/n

- The ability to work calmly under pressure and make sound decisions.

/n

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

/n

- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

/n

- A flexible approach to working a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications & Experience Required /n

/n

- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

/n

- Current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).

/n

- Current NSW Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) (or willingness to obtain).

/n

- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

/n

- Current NSW Driver Licence.

/n

- Australian working rights.
