Say It Louder Speech Pathology is a growing private practice in Ivanhoe East, supporting children from 18 months and their families across clinic, community and telehealth settings.

We’re looking for our first team member—which means you won’t simply be stepping into an established role. You’ll have a genuine opportunity to help shape our practice, culture and the way we support families.

We’re looking for someone warm, curious, thoughtful and clinically driven. Someone who enjoys working with children and families, thinks critically and takes pride in doing things well.

The role

You’ll work with children and families across a range of communication and developmental needs, with the opportunity to develop your caseload around your clinical interests.

This may include:

- Speech sound disorders
- Social communication
- Literacy
- Fluency
- Autism and neurodivergence
- AAC and assistive technology
- Disability and complex communication needs

Our approach is evidence-based, relationship-centred and neurodiversity-affirming. We believe therapy should be meaningful and functional—not therapy for therapy’s sake.

For new graduates

Your first role matters. We want you to have the time, support and psychological safety to learn, ask questions and develop into the clinician you want to be.

You’ll have access to:

AAC experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We care more about your clinical thinking, attitude and willingness to learn than ticking every box.

The essentials

You’ll need:

- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology,



or be completing your final year and eligible to commence practice upon graduation
- Be a certified Speech Pathology Australia member
- A genuine interest in paediatric practice
- A current Working With Children Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Your own laptop

I started Say It Louder because I wanted to create the kind of practice I would have wanted to work in myself—a place where clinicians are trusted, families feel genuinely heard and quality of care matters more than how many appointments we can fit into a day.

I care deeply about the families we support, but I care just as much about the people providing that support. I don’t believe great therapy should come at the expense of clinician wellbeing.

As our practice grows, I’m now looking for my first team member—someone thoughtful, kind, reliable and curious, who I can genuinely enjoy working alongside.
